Coverage & liability limits
Colombia courier
Limited contractual shipment protection for loss only. For each approved lost package/piece, reimbursement is limited to the lesser of USD $200 or the declared value attributable to that package/piece. Not insurance. See Shipping Terms.
Excludes delays, partial damage, fragile items, and customs actions.
Mexico — basic shipment protection
Eligible Mexico shipments include limited contractual shipment protection: up to the lesser of the documented actual loss or USD $150 per affected package/piece for approved partial loss, and up to the lesser of the documented actual loss or USD $300 per lost package/piece for approved full loss. Not insurance. See Shipping Terms.
Optional protection is available before dispatch and replaces these limits — it does not stack with them. Claims must be reported within 48 hours.
Commercial freight / carga (all lanes)
No insurance or shipment protection by default. Shipment protection exists only where separately approved and documented in writing before dispatch.
Fragile / excluded items
Travel at sender risk. See the full list under prohibited items.
Declared value is used for customs documentation and to calculate the ceiling of any approved claim. Declared value alone does not create or increase any coverage, shipment protection or contractual liability of AH & CO Logistics, unless protection is separately approved and documented in writing before dispatch. This applies subject to applicable law and to our Terms & Conditions.
